Background
Cristina Cirera, Graduated with a Higher Degree in Interior Design from Elisava School of Design in Barcelona (Pompeu Fabra University), with a Postgraduate Degree in Design and Architecture from the Cujae University in Havana and a Master’s Degree in Interior Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design from Milan.
Experience
After having worked in several international architecture and interior design firms, in 2013 she created the interior design studio Cirera + Espinet where she designs and directs residential, hotel, restaurant, office and commercial projects in Barcelona, Madrid, Mallorca and Andorra.
The studio
In 2020, she decides to found her own studio Cirera Studio, where she carries out and offers a comprehensive and multidisciplinary service for each project. The language she uses for her designs is harmonic eclecticism that is defined through the contrasts between shapes and textures prioritizing functionality and aesthetics, carrying out each project in a personal way and creating a particular and emotional atmosphere. The investigation in the details makes each creation and project unique, unrepeatable and timeless.

Feasibility Studies
Relevant before purchasing land, or when wanting to test if a project is feasible. We review planning restrictions, how a develop. might fit site and obtain a cost estimate.
Construction Documents
Detailed drawings and specifications are prepared, enabling building permit review, accurate builder costing and comprehensive details to facilitate construction.
Concept Design
After establishing your brief, we analyse, measure and record site features and prepare design options for review. After feedback, a selected option is worked up to demonstrate its main features, with a cost obtained.
Construction Services
We proactively organise meeting, resolve unforeseens and address queries to maintain the design quality. As contract administrators, we prepare a fair building contract and act as an independent assessor.
Design Development
Refining the design to select materials, dimensions, fittings, building systems, windows as well as cabinetry and lighting design.
Tendering
Suitable builders are selected to provide a tender. A clear tender format is established and an analysis of results for your selection.
